It’s a cultivation method that doesn’t use soil at all. The plant nutrients are replaced by water that contains various important nutrients. You can use one of cultivation techniques, namely wick hydroponic technique. It’s simple because it needs your used drink bottles.
Firstly, cut the bottles into two pieces. Making holes in the bottleneck, you can set wicks and airflow here.
After that, pair the wick in the top of the bottle and then put the bottleneck into another part of the bottle (bottom part) in an inverted position. in the upper part of the bottle, you can fill husk or sand for growing media. Then, fill vegetable weeds and watering your seeds with a mixture of water and important nutrients.
It’s a well-known method and it’s an effective way for you who have limited space. You can use any pots that made of wood, clay, plastic, metal, or cement and you should use pot base so that the plants have fluent water and air circulation. If you use this method, you have to put the pots in an open area that can be exposed to sunlight easily.
Vertical garden method
Many people use this method to create a mini garden in a limited space. You can try it for your vegetables by hanging the plants with pots. Use PVC or others as the growing media. You can do this method with straight position, stuck on a certain media, or you can make a rack for your plants.
Fill the containers with soil and then plant the vegetable seeds. Place the containers in an area that always exposed to sunlight. After that, do watering the vegetables regularly.
